August 31st, 2007 · 1 Comment

  • Yahoo working on a new social networking service that matches college students to employers
  • It will be called KickStart
  • It will be focused on users resumes
  • To join groups you will need an invitation from someone working at the company
  • CNet reports that Yahoo KickStart is just a concept right now
  • Yahoo failed to acquire Facebook some time ago

“To join groups in Kickstart you will need an invitation from someone working at the company.”

I have a few queries here:

    1. Does this mean, a person who is an employee in any company can only join the group and send an invitation to others to join?

    2. Secondly, does it mean, that only employees working in Kickstart can only send invitations for a user to join the group?

    Please clarify.

    Thanks.
